ʔuləx̌ means ‘to gather’ in Lushootseed, the language of Coast Salish peoples in the Puget Sound area. This project team published a free traditional recipe book, created accessible instructional videos on safely gathering local plants, and hosted community dinners to promote food sovereignty for Native peoples.
