Native Youth Political Empowerment Summit

Native Action Network invites Indigenous youth ages 16 - 24 to attend the Native Youth Political Empowerment Summit for a day filled with learning and skill-building on topics related to nonpartisan civic engagement. 

When: Saturday, August 10th from 9:30am - 7:30pm. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks will be provided. 

Where: Cedarbrook Lodge, 18525 36th Ave S, Seattle, WA 98188. 

*Selected participants must arrange for their travel to and from the program. Onsite parking is free, and the venue provides a free shuttle service to and from the SeaTac Lightrail station, airport, and Tukwila Amtrak station. 

Eligibility: Native American, Alaska Native, and Indigenous young people (16 - 24 years old) interested in furthering their political involvement and leadership skills.

What can you expect?: This Summit is intended to support youth in sharpening their advocacy skills and/or learning about current issues impacting our communities, including an introduction to election protection, Get-Out-the-Vote organizing, federal Indian law, and more. All youth participants will receive a free hoodie, swag bag, and $100 participation stipend upon completion!
