Empowering Generations
Sarah Anderson, Britany Lindley, Zintkala Johnson, and Candi Ruckman created the nonprofit organization Empowering Generations for their Legacy of Leadership cohort project. Empowering Generations is an online resource hub developed to build and strengthen community ties of the Native American peoples and their allies living in Washington State. They aspire to lift up our Native American brothers, sisters, two spirits, and allies by not only providing information on tribal gatherings, available services, and preserving heritage, but also providing resources to strengthen our collective voice within our local, state, and federal governments. They hope to encourage and increase Native American engagement and traditional empowerment throughout Washington State and beyond.
Their mission is to develop an access point where all vital community information can be found in one place. Our place: Empowering Generations.
